Japanese
Terror in China"です。
What
War
Chinese Information
the
(Earl
Leaf)が the Chinese Information Service
(American Committee for
Non-Participation in Japanese
American
Committee for Non-Participation in Japanese Aggression
(Trans
(Earl
(Henry
[Donald
J. Friedman, "The Road from Isolation", East Asian Research Center
Harverd University, 1970, pp.8-9] (文中、the committeeとは American
Committee for Non-Participation in Japanese Aggression
---- At this stage of its organization, the committee
had a National Board, which consisted of twenty-one early
members; but day-to-day operating decisions were largely made by
a small group consisting of Harry Price, Dr. B.A. Garside,
T.A. Bisson, Dr. Edward H. Hume and Josephine Schain. Frank
Price was active only during the first weeks of the
committee's existence since he was not living in New York; by
October 1938 he had returned to China, and his only connection
with the committee thereafter was through correspondence with
his brother.10 Earl Leaf, another initial member of the
group, dropped out voluntarily at the beginning of September so
that no one would jump to the erroneous conclusion from his
official connection with the Chinese Information Service that
the committee was in any way prompted by or linked with
the Chinese government.11
